• “I’ll go check for some stuff over there,” Sandra said vaguely, before disappearing with Alex. Becca realized that she was trying to give them some privacy.
• “Of course not, Becca. I’d never do that. I missed you.” He told her meaningfully, but he looked a little worried and vulnerable as he admitted this.
• “It’s only been five days since we last saw each other, Dan, but I know what you mean. I missed you too.” Becca replied, and saw the relief enter his eyes.
