Chapter 21 An Awkward Dinner (Two)

• “She’s going to be really mad at me if she knows that I knew you were going to divorce Becca, advised you on how to go about it as fast as possible, and was even your lawyer, all without informing her. You promised, Ryan.”
• “What’s the big deal with this Becca woman? She’s not even so pretty, so I don’t get why your sister is making such a fuss about her.” Angela spoke, glancing at Ryan in irritation, and making him regret for the umpteenth time, why he brought her in the first place.
• “I would prefer it if we stopped talking about Becca. She brought this upon herself.” Ryan told the two of them, scowling and ignoring what Angela had said.
