Chapter 129 Letting Go (Two)
- “Ah. Thanks. That’s all I ask.” Becca replied, and there was some silence between them as each person was lost in thought. Taking a deep breath again, Becca opened her mouth and spoke.
- “Listen, Dan. There’s something I need your advice on. You and Sandra’s advice, actually…” She began but was cut off by a small ruckus that was going on outside. They both moved to the window and looked out to see Sandra and the kids, together with another woman whose face they couldn’t see because she was backing them. Emma was throwing tantrums and yelling at the woman, while Sandra tried to placate her and Alex stood by watching the scene amusedly.
- “I take it that that’s your date. I need to have a talk with Emma about this horrid behavior that she keeps exhibiting.” Becca said unamusedly. Emma never liked any of Dan’s dates, as she felt that he was her mother’s boyfriend, no matter how many times Becca tried to tell the child otherwise.
