Chapter 172 A New Addition (Two)

• As Becca had suspected, it was indeed a long night. She didn’t get a single wink of sleep that night. She finally got through to Sandra around seven in the morning and called her to come take care of her sister-in-law, while she got some shuteye. By the time Becca woke up around two in the afternoon, Dan was back from the hospital and was comforting his wife, who was still in labor and had gone back to their house. Sandra was there too, as was Alex, who was looking quite pale, but much better than the previous night. Becca gave him his drugs and dished out the food that she had brought from her house for them to eat.
• “Becca, Alex told me what happened to him last night. I can’t thank you enough.” Sandra said, coming over to the living room where she was sitting with Alex and eating.
• “It’s nothing, Sandra. I know you would do the same if it was Emma.”
