Chapter 122 The Present (Two)
- “We could all be together as a family, Sandra, and leave this sick world behind. You’ll finally get over your guilt regarding Amy, and she will not be so alone wherever she is anymore. Don’t worry, it’ll be quick.” Sam told her, looking closely at her with a pleading and boyish look on his face that was really creepy, given the circumstances.
- Sandra could see the door, which she was facing, and Sam was backing, inching open little by little. It took her a while to realize that it was Alex, no longer hiding in the corner, where they had all but forgotten about him, but now leaving the room very stealthily, who was opening it. He was far wiser than his age. Immediately, she continued talking to distract Sam from what was going on. At least, if Alex was out of the room, she could try to take on Sam without the fear that Sam would use the child as bait or something. Every thought left her mind when he produced a gun seemingly out of nowhere and brandished it in her face.
- “Sam, please don’t. You’re going to regret this when you’re yourself again.”
