Chapter 200 The Meeting (Two)
- Tracy was in high spirits, and not even the thought of where she was currently headed could dampen her mood or lessen her joy. Ryan had made love to her the way he used to, and he had agreed that they get married. She was wearing a disguise in the form of a scarf and dark shades, even though she was still in her car and even though she was not likely to run into anyone she knew where she was headed. She was new in town, after all, and the only people she knew, which were Ryan, Becca, and her friends, lived on the other side of town. However, one could never be too careful.
- She located and got to the restaurant that that asshole, Josh, had sent her directions to just in time, parked her car, then got down from it and headed in, trying her best to look small and unnoticed. She stood at the entrance of the restaurant, which contained only a handful of people, much to her relief, and glanced around quickly. Josh was seating in the corner, sipping a glass of drink. He looked up as she entered, but did not seem to recognize her, probably because of the ‘disguise’ that she was wearing. Immediately she saw him, her pleasant mood evaporated as though it had never been. What on earth had she been thinking sleeping with this creep?
- “Hey.” She said coolly, removing her glasses and slipping into the chair opposite him, then fixing him with an icy stare, which seemed to have not a single effect on him. He leered at her, even though she was fully dressed with all her lady bits properly covered, and she felt her skin crawl.
