Chapter 52 A Slip Of The Tongue

• By the time Becca was in her eighth month of pregnancy, she began her maternity leave at the insistence of her doctor. Luckily enough, Sandra, whose position she had been sort of occupying, was back, but Becca was told that she was welcome to come back if she wanted a job after her maternity leave was over. Her last day in the school before her leave was one that would forever be ingrained in her memory. The kids she taught had all come with presents for her unborn baby, and with the help of Sandra, had thrown a small party in school for her, complete with a cake. It was the sweetest thing that had happened to her in a long while, and Becca had found herself crying profusely and alarming some of the kids.
• She was so thankful that Dan and Becca were her neighbors, and that they had taken it upon themselves to become her friends because she did not know what on earth she would have done without them. Dan brought her food and gave her the best foot massages ever, while Sandra came over and gossiped with her, or went with her to her doctor’s appointments whenever she had the chance, and helped with any other thing that needed helping with. In return, Becca helped babysit Alex anytime Sandra needed help and bought presents for him all the time.
• Her horniness nowadays was out the roof, and it was always a wonder to her that she was so horny despite how heavily pregnant she was and how irritated she felt most of the time. She was not willing to do anything about it though, at least not yet. The thought of going out with anyone was not something that had crossed her mind yet, and the day Sandra brought up the topic, she had shot it down immediately, not wanting to hear anything more about it. A knock on the door brought her out of her reverie, and she got up to open the door without even checking through the peephole, knowing that it would be either Dan or Sandra at the door. She was not wrong. Sandra was standing at the door with a now four-month-old Alex, who immediately stretched out his hands towards her so that she could carry him.
