How’s that for learning my lesson? All I need now is just some money to start up a business and start my life over.” Sam told them, pleased with himself for having come up with this brilliant idea on the spur of the moment. When he had set out for their place some hours after he was released, he hadn’t thought about what he would say to them or how he was going to get money from his father, but he had to admit that this idea was a good one. It didn’t take him long to see that they were staring at him skeptically, apparently not believing a single word that had just come from his mouth.
• “I can tell Archie at the grocery store to hire you.” His father said at last.
