Chapter 113 Unsupervised (Two)
- Luckily enough, both kids had been tired out by the swimming session, and soon, Taylor was fast asleep on another sun lounger beside the one that her grandfather was reclining on. Tyler’s eyes were beginning to droop too, so Noah knew that it was only a matter of minutes before he drifted off to sleep. Noah was also beginning to feel sleepy but was too tired to get up and take the children back inside. His headache was coming back, so he decided to close his eyes for a little bit and relax, after which he would take the kids back to one of the rooms with an air conditioner and wait for his wife to come back.
- “I’ll just relax for a minute or two, highest, ten minutes, and catch my breath before we go inside.” He thought to himself as he settled more comfortably into the sunlounger and closed his eyes to savor the peace and quiet that came with the twins being fast asleep.
- A gentle breeze that rustled the leaves of the apple tree in the garden beyond was blowing, and the sun was now hidden between clouds, the result of which was sweet coolness. Within minutes, Noah was also fast asleep like the twins were. His mouth hung open, and he was snoring loudly, not in the least bit aware of his surroundings. The entire backyard was silent, except for the sound of the leaves rustling, and Noah’s loud snores. The snore woke a half-asleep Tyler up. His sister was still sleeping beside him, as was his grandfather.
