Chapter 98 Amelia's Pov

• Staring at the moon, I sighed deeply. The wind was gentle against my skin as I stood in the middle of the garden. Hearing the different howl of wolves from up the mountains, I felt sad. I wanted to experience that same feeling, how to run on my four hind legs, especially during the winter, the snow feeling cold under my feet and the snow coating my fur. I wondered what it felt like even though the thought of my bones breaking is not really welcoming to me but I still want to feel it. I am a werewolf for crying out loud, I don't know why the Moon goddess decided to take away my ability to wolf out. She should have taken something else.
• Why did it have to be that? I felt so bare, so naked. I didn't even feel like a wolf at all. I didn't even feel as if I was the Luna of Blood Moon Pack, maybe that was why Jackson had trust issues with me. He didn't see me fit as his Luna. Maybe he was embarrassed of me or the only reason why he chose me as his Luna was because of the deal that we struck. I am sure once he got what I wanted he would dispose of me. The only reason why he needed a wife and a luna was to get some of the councilmen off his back and not to feel so left out in the Alpha's meeting, despite being the strongest Alpha in the werewolf community without a luna and a mate, some wolves could challenge him, that was why he needed me. I was just his trophy Luna.
• I felt so hurt and disappointed by the way he thought that I was so cheap to have feelings for Simon. What did he even take me as a slut? A cheap whore who jumps from one brother to the other? If Athena was a man, would he also accuse me of sleeping with her? He didn't seem too happy about seeing her on my bed some days ago. I never knew Jackson was the jealous type, he didn't seem like one but he looked so ferocious. If I hadn't stood in front of Simon, Jackson would have ripped his brother apart and I am sure he would have regretted it later on. He was just blinded by pure rage and jealousy. I don't understand why he felt threatened by Simon but it was getting really annoying.
