• I don't understand why Jackson kept me locked inside here like some wild animal. I have not seen outside of this room for the past few days. I was slowly losing my mind. He said I needed to learn my lesson so that next time I wouldn't go against his orders.
• When he found out that I killed Mr. Neville, to say that Jackson was angry was an understatement. If I wasn't his sister, and he didn't hit a woman, I am sure I would have received a beating from him. That was the first time in my entire life I have seen him this angry at me but that time he seemed to overlook anything that I did. Jackson didn't understand how much I was driven for vengeance.
