• Amelia has been smiling a lot to me. She has even been nice to me for the past few days. I think my gifts to her did the trick. I have seen the way she and Karla are always together and I can tell that they were really close like sisters. Wherever you see Amelia, you must see her friend there too and she is such a social butterfly. Even Simon and Drake have taken a liking to her. The only one who has been acting weird and aloof has been Athena. I can feel her getting more anxious than before. The Pack doctor has increased her dosage but it seems like nothing is working. I have seen her countless times sobbing in her room, I have asked her what seems to be the problem but she always brushes it aside, telling me that she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. That doesn't seem like a valuable reason for Athena to cry. She rarely cries but these days, her eyes are always swollen, and her lips pale. She is looking so lifeless and I know that Simon is concerned. I have seen the way he stares at her and even he doesn't know what seems to be the problem. I have asked Amelia but she always gives me the same reply each time, maybe it's her time of the month but that doesn't seem to make any sense to me.
• I have known Athena ever since she was a little girl and was slowly turning into a woman and I know that her period never makes her that cranky or sad. I know that Amelia knows something from the way she tends to avoid me whenever I come close because she knows that I will bombard her with questions. Something went on between Athena and Amelia and I really want to know what it was. It affected the both of them so much that Amelia now spends less time with Athena and more time with her best friend. Maybe Athena is feeling jealous or left out but that is so unlike her. Even when Lauren Neville was frequenting this Palace and was trying to replace Athena, she never got jealous instead she found it highly amusing that Lauren was craving attention. No matter how hard Lauren tried to put her down, she never succeeded. Was Athena threatened by Karla? I am out of ideas because I have no clue what to do.
• I have asked around if she and Amelia ever had an altercation but nobody seems to have seen anything. Athena seems to be pushing herself too much. Every time I see her, she is either locked up in her room or is training too hard. Even Simon these days can't seem to keep up with her vigorous training. Was she trying to wear herself out? If I come home, there are problems, I go out also the Councilmen are giving me a headache. Apparently, a body was found near the alley with his head split open. I knew that I was the Alpha but there were some gruesome murders I couldn't even take part in. The person who did that was truly a monster.
