Chapter 10 Athena's Pov

• I never thought I would see the day Alpha Jackson Kane would bring back a mate and his Luna. It was quite shocking for all the servants. I wonder how the entire pack would react not to talk of those annoying council members who always think that they are better than every wolf. It would be heartbreaking for some ladies, especially those in the Elite class who would stop at nothing to make sure that their daughters get chosen as the Alpha's mate.
• Who wouldn't want to be called Jackson's Luna? He was extremely handsome, with his silver hair and piercing grey eyes, his tall physique, and his firm muscles. Everything about Jackson screamed power but he was now taken. I was surprised to see Amelia. She was really pretty but too timid. She wasn't Luna material but there was this certain aura surrounding her that I couldn't quite figure out. She needed to be vicious, not pitiful. Pardoning Jeremy was wrong. She looked so scared and confused when saying she forgave him. She needed to be strong or else, she would be trampled on easily, especially by those ladies who wanted Jackson's attention but couldn't have it. This would be very interesting to watch. She better watch her back or she would sink so easily.
• "You should really thank the Moon goddess, Jeremy, or else you would have been beheaded and thrown into the sea for badmouthing the Luna," I overheard one of the maidservants.
