Chapter 108 Athena's Pov

• Everywhere looked really different. I couldn't even recognize the Palace anymore. The servants ran up and down, decorating different places. It looks really festive here and I was loving every bit of it.
• Jackson really wanted this to be the best party for Amelia and I can say that she deserves that. Everyone needs to know that she was the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack. They need to stop looking down on her. I am sure that I sent a clear message to everyone at the training camp the other day. It was so nice to finally get rid of Matthias. He didn't expect that and he never expected that I knew about his dirty little secret. Councilman Robert really thought that he could buy off a bodyguard from the Alpha's Palace and expect me or anyone else not to find out and of all the people that he chose, it has to be big Matthias who didn't know anything. The only thing that gave him leverage was that he was packed with muscle and that was what he used to intimidate everyone but I wasn't among those people I have seen people that have muscles bigger than him and they no longer terrified me.
• Matthias was never a problem to me and he wasn't too big to handle because I knew that he wasn't the big Fish I was looking for. There was someone higher than him in this Palace that gave more useful information than Matthias but I had to root out every weed in my way and I knew that I wasn't the one that was being attacked, rather it was Amelia. Jackson gave me the important task of looking after his Luna.
