Chapter 67 Athena's Pov

• "I don't feel good about this, if we are caught then we are in deep trouble. Can't you just let this go? Let us leave," she said, looking around frantically.
• "If you keep talking then we are going to get caught. Just stand outside the door and keep watch. If you see anyone approaching, make sure you tap on the door twice and find somewhere else to run, I can handle myself," I said to her, holding her cheek to keep her calm. She breathed in and out before relaxing.
• I went into Jeremy's room, looking for any clue of why he was acting strange these past few days if he was high on something. It better be that. He was losing his mind slowly because, for some time now, I have felt our friendship slipping away. I used to have a connection with Jeremy despite him being the servant and I was the l Alpha's adopted sister. He was the only one who didn't treat me differently, he was there for me. He never asked me what I went through or who abducted me from the snowy mountains where I ran every day in my wolf form with Lucy. All he said was that if I ever needed a friend, he was here for me but this wasn't the same person I had an altercation with in the kitchen days ago. Jeremy was a totally different person now. He acted so strange, not to mention his constant change of wardrobe was very off. Before he wore only sandals but now, he doesn't wear anything except for combat boots which are extremely expensive for a low servant like him. He would rather spend that money on his sisters than himself. Whenever he wasn't on duty, he made sure he dressed himself like a royal and I am sure I was not the only one who noticed this change in appearance.
