Chapter 121 Athena's Pov

• Staring at him from afar as he met one of the Councilmen, looking around, checking if someone was following him as he gave him something wrapped in a brown envelope. He peeked inside the envelope, smiling widely as he shook the councilman's hand with so much enthusiasm, a wide smile on his face.
• The councilman gave him a pat on the back as he bowed deeply, paying respect. Something that I had known that he always does grudgingly, talking about having neck pain when doing it but now he seems to be bowing deeply like the loyal dog he is. It was really fun to watch. Who would have thought I would be graced with this? He thought he was slick in his sneaking around but he was just another dumb guy who thought he was smart. If only he knew I was hiding and waiting for him like how a skilled hunter waits for his prey to fall into his trap and I was sure that he was going to fall inside it.
• His whole attention was on the brown envelope that he was holding. Whatever the hell that was inside there. I didn't care, I knew whatever it was it wasn't good. The way he was smiling as if he just won the lottery, I wanted to wipe that stupid smile off his face but I knew that I had to wait until that old sick bastard left. I will deal with him later, he was just a piece of cake. I don't need to stress myself in his own case and I would give him a befitting visit, one that he deserved very well but for now, I have to focus on one person, the last person that didn't know that I was on his case.
