Chapter 94 Lonely Routine

• "I'm sorry, Ma'am, but Sir Joshua is not here right now," Monique couldn't hide her disappointment when she heard the secretary's response while trying to locate her husband upon her arrival at his office.
• Monique had been at her husband's office for a while that day. She wanted to see him and, at the same time, hoped to have lunch with him. Due to his busy schedule, they rarely had the opportunity to eat together, even at home. If Joshua wasn't leaving early in the morning, he was coming home late. He would call her from the office to check on her, but it wasn't the same as being together in person, sharing a meal and bonding.
• For almost four days, that had been their routine. Monique understood Joshua's hectic work life, but there were moments when she couldn't help but feel lonely and miss him. She missed their quality time together as a married couple.
