Chapter 8 Twin Bonds, Unexpected Love

• Jacob couldn't help but furrow his brow when he opened the door to his condo and saw his twin brother Joshua standing there. It turned out that it was Joshua who had rung the doorbell.
• "What are you doing here?" he asked, their eyes meeting, his expression remaining unchanged. As he gazed at Joshua, it was as if he were looking in the mirror.
• Jacob had no idea that Joshua was coming to visit; he hadn't given him any prior notice. His twin was lucky to have caught him at home. Jacob had been planning to leave the condo and go to the bar, but he'd had a change of heart and decided to stay in instead. He figured he could just have a drink at home since he had some canned beer in the fridge. He had even ordered some snacks for delivery.
