• Monique woke up the next morning to find her husband no longer beside her. She glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table and saw that it was almost six in the morning.
• Monique lingered in bed for a moment before getting up. She needed to prepare breakfast for both of them because they had work.
• She reached for the ponytail holder on the bedside table and quickly pulled her long hair into a messy bun style. Then, she headed to the bathroom to rinse her mouth and wash her face. After finishing, she left the bathroom and proceeded to look for her husband.
