Chapter 24 Giddy Moments

• Monique wiped her wet hair with a white towel as she stepped out of the bathroom inside her bedroom. She was wearing a bathrobe, with only black undergarments underneath. She was about to make her way to the vanity mirror when the sound of the doorbell from outside her condo caught her attention.
• She furrowed her brow slightly and glanced at the clock hanging on her bedroom wall. She knew exactly who would be ringing the doorbell at this hour—her fiancé, Joshua. They had plans for him to pick her up at eight in the morning because they were both attending their friend Tameka's wedding. The wedding was scheduled for ten in the morning at the church, but they needed to be there by nine for the entourage photoshoot.
