Chapter 14 Heartache On Repeat

• Jacob furrowed his brow as he looked toward the direction of the doorbell when he heard it chime at his condo. He couldn't help but wonder who his unexpected visitor might be. In a moment, he thought it could be his twin brother, Joshua. Joshua was the only one who dropped by without prior notice. Sometimes, Jacob would be taken by surprise when he opened the door to him without any warning.
• Setting down the canned beer he held on the center table, he rose from his seat on the sofa in the living room. Afterward, he made his way toward the door to see whoever was outside.
• As he opened the door, he confirmed his suspicion when he saw his twin standing in front of his condo.
