Chapter 89 Lies And Blueprints
- Jacob furrowed his brow as he stared at his laptop screen. He had been glued to it for a while now, eagerly awaiting an email from his twin brother. They had an agreement that Joshua would email him the proposal requested by one of the investors of their company, Rodolfo Davis, who happened to be the owner of the largest Davis Trust Bank.
- In their arrangement, Jacob had been posing as Joshua, meeting with the investors while Joshua prepared the proposals. Joshua had been handling the responsibilities temporarily while he was in Switzerland. Whenever Joshua needed him, he would receive a call. During his free time, Jacob would create the blueprints required by their clients and send them over, allowing Joshua to present them to the clients. Since Joshua had no knowledge of architecture, he often delegated this task to one of his employees to present the blueprints to the clients.
- After waiting for about ten minutes without receiving the expected email, Jacob decided to call Joshua instead. He reached for his cellphone, which was placed on the table, and contacted him through a social media account, as it was more accessible since Joshua was online.
