Chapter 17 Desperate Distraction

• "Do you have a problem, Jacob?" Jacob's friend Dustin asked when he noticed that Jacob had downed his glass of alcohol in one gulp.
• Jacob was at a bar owned by Dustin at that moment. They had been classmates in high school and remained close even when Jacob moved to Switzerland for college and eventually settled there. Occasionally, when Dustin visited Switzerland, he would come to see Jacob.
