Chapter 79 Unexpected Visitor Pt 1

• Monique woke up the next morning, finding her husband missing from her side. It seemed he had woken up earlier and decided to let her sleep in. That was one of her husband's habits; when he knew she was sleeping soundly, he wouldn't wake her. He would allow her to rest peacefully, especially on weekends. Sometimes, she would wake up to find that he had already prepared breakfast, fed their two dogs, cleaned up, and even started doing their laundry. They didn't have any domestic helpers.
• Monique lay in bed for a few more minutes before she decided to get up. She reached for the hair tie on the bedside table and gathered her long hair into a messy bun. Stretching a bit, she finally left the bed and headed out of the room, wondering where her husband might be. She checked the kitchen first, thinking he might be there, helping her mother with breakfast. The last time they visited Florida, he had assisted her mother in preparing breakfast.
• However, upon entering the kitchen, Monique found neither her husband nor her mother there. She wondered where they could be. She ventured outside, thinking they might be in the backyard. They weren't in the living room either.
