Chapter 15 Unspoken Connection

• Monique glanced toward the door of her Pet Clinic when she felt someone entering. She couldn't help but break into a smile when she saw her friend, Amy, walk in, carrying her pet, Cinnamon, in her arms. As soon as Cinnamon spotted Monique, it excitedly wagged its tail.
• Monique set aside her work to greet her friend. "Amy," she said as she approached. She leaned in to give her friend a kiss on both cheeks before gently patting Cinnamon's head. "Well, just as you told me before, you wanted Cinnamon to have a check-up," Amy said.
• "Hmm...sure," Monique replied. "I'll take care of Cinnamon." She reached out to accept the dog from Amy's arms. She immediately began the examination, running some routine checks on Cinnamon. Monique also performed an ultrasound to ensure that the pregnancy was progressing well. So far, everything looked good, and there were no signs of complications. After completing the check-up, she called for Marisa to take over and gave her instructions for Cinnamon's vitamins.
