Chapter 49 A Promise Over Breakfast Pt 1

• Monique yawned as she woke up the next morning, only to find her husband missing from her side once again. It seemed he had already woken up, and she knew exactly what he was up to. He was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for the both of them. She was sure he had already fed Lucky and Cocoa as well. She had woken up early, but he was always one step ahead.
• That's just how her husband operated. If he woke up first, he wouldn't disturb her slumber. He would wake her up once everything was ready. All she had to do was eat. So, when they were done eating, she would often volunteer to do the dishes.
• She finally got up from her bed and headed straight to the bathroom to wash up and brush her teeth. After finishing, she walked out of the bathroom and left her room.
