Chapter 22 The Surprise Visit

• Monique decided to visit Joshua at his office that day. She didn't have much to do at her Pet Clinic. Sometimes, there were no customers at her clinic, but there were also days when they were overwhelmed with customers, especially when many walked in. Today, however, was a slow day.
• Before heading to Joshua's office, Monique swung by a Drive-Thru to buy lunch. She timed her visit during her lunch break to avoid disturbing him while he was working. She didn't want to disrupt his work or make him stay overtime.
• She arrived at the Shaw Advertising Company (SAC) building at quarter to twelve. She parked her car neatly in the building's parking lot. Before getting out, she checked her reflection in the rearview mirror. She ran her fingers through her long hair. Satisfied with her appearance, she grabbed her bag and the take-out lunch from a nearby restaurant before exiting her car.
