Chapter 65 Friendship Roadblock

Monique furrowed her brow when she couldn't get in touch with her friend Amy on the phone. Claire had called her earlier and invited them for lunch outside. It had been a while since the three of them had gone out together. They used to go out more often, but things had changed since the three of them got married. Claire even teased her that they might forget about each other in the future. Claire had told her to call Amy and Cassidy, and they would also take care of Tameka and Shana.
Monique managed to get in touch with Cassidy, knowing she might have some reservations due to her showbiz issues, but she tried anyway. After speaking to Cassidy, she attempted to call Amy, but she couldn't reach her because her cellphone was turned off. She decided to send Amy a text message instead.
After sending the text, she called her husband to inform him. She didn't want him to think she was hiding anything. He might go to her clinic, and she didn't want to be late for lunch. He had gotten used to having lunch together when he wasn't too busy at the office. If he didn't invite her to eat out, they would have lunch together in her office, with takeout food.
