Chapter 25 Heartfelt Vows

• As the music filled the church, the members of Tameka and Gavin's entourage began to march down the aisle one by one. Monique scanned her surroundings, looking for Joshua, but it wasn't her turn to march yet. She spotted him sitting alone at the back of the church. He seemed somewhat lonely amidst the unfamiliar faces among Tameka and Gavin's guests.
• Joshua recognized her gaze and looked in her direction. When their eyes met, he flashed a smile, and she returned it before shifting her attention when Claire tapped her from behind.
