• As I walked through the suite this morning to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, I stopped to see my mom finish packing her duffel and I knocked on her door frame. She looked up and smiled, “Good morning my son. What can I do for you this morning?”
• I walked over to my mom and wrapped my arms around her, I just needed a mom hug this morning. “Mom, I am so afraid I am going to lose her. Kolt is restless and gives me a headache. Would you mind if Marcus or Tatum drives today? Being near Nikki seems to calm my wolf,” I sighed. My mom hugged me tighter and I relaxed in her embrace. I am a mama’s boy at heart, what can I say?
• “Sure thing my boy. This isn’t going to be easy on you and I am sorry. Let’s just hope the Blood Moon confirms what we already suspect,” mom said, rubbing my back while she hugged me.
