Chapter 141 Nikki

• This morning was very busy in preparations for the council to arrive. They asked that everyone that has been around from the beginning of Alpha Hollis’s actions would write an account from their perspective so that they can evaluate from multiple viewpoints and look for any inconsistencies. I suppose they have to go with the whole innocent until proven guilty stand point, but it sure rubs me the wrong way.
• Maisey and I were in Luna’s sitting room putting together folders with the statements. Alpha Kieran, Luna Fran, Alpha Heir Kendall, Frankie and myself are the ones who have all written out statements according to what we are each aware of. We made photocopies of each statement and placed a copy of each in every folder.
• Maisey and I finished the task fairly quickly and were bantering back and forth like we often do, when there was a knock on the door. “Come on in,” I called out. To my surprise it was Kendall. Not that I am surprised he is in the mansion, because he has stayed here pretty much since the night of the ball. That was a decision that the Alphas all made together, because no one really knows if Alpha Hollis’s Beta and Gamma can be trusted.
