• When I woke this morning, it was with Frankie’s arm wrapped tightly around me. Though my heart swelled in happiness, secure in his arms, it wasn’t the only thing swollen. I needed out of his vise-like grip to make my way to the bathroom. I tried to move his arm but he only tightened his hold. I tried giving him a gentle kiss, nothing. I brushed a piece of my hair across his face, no go. I said his name softly and he nestled closer, this wasn’t good, I really had to go. “FRANKIE!” I screamed and the moment his arm moved slightly, I rolled and ran towards the bathroom door.
• After taking care of my needs and brushing my hair into a high ponytail, I washed my face and hands and walked back into the bedroom. Now if I had thought all this time that Frankie was handsome, pouting Frankie was HOT! The scowl on his face made my insides quiver and my core throb. “You could have just asked me to move my arm,” he said. His voice was low and still sleep muddled. My jaw dropped open, he didn’t just say that after everything I had to do to get him to move his arm.
• Once I recovered from the shock of his statement, I crossed the room and climbed onto my bed. “You have no idea what all I tried before I ended up screaming your name,” I said, giving him pouty puppy eyes.
