Chapter 47 Kieran

• It’s been three years since the fire at the preschool. Fortunately, we had the pack house to use while we cleared the site and rebuilt a new one. We never found the rogues responsible for the fire or even how they managed to slip past the border patrols. Since that time, we have increased training and patrols to keep the pack safe. So far so good, as there haven’t been any more attacks.
• Unfortunately, the trip we had planned for a few days after the fire was also delayed during the chaos and inevitably it continued to be put off. At first it was delayed allowing Frannie the appropriate time to heal and then it seemed that there was always something else that needed our attention at home.
• Tonight is our last night visiting Desert Moon Pack and Isha invited Frannie and I to run alongside him and Hope for the full moon run. Hope and Frannie have been in the kitchen all day with this pack’s Cookie working on side dishes and desserts to go with the burgers, chicken and chops that Isha will grill for the after run barbeque.
