Chapter 46 Frannie

• Since I would be using puppets along with the story, I elected to use one of the half circle tables and laid the book in the center while laying the puppets I chose on either side. Soon the pups gathered on the story rug, and I began sharing my favorite story with them, using the puppets to enhance the experience.
• About halfway through the story, I caught a whiff of something that made my stomach roll, eyes tear, and started a tickle in the back of my throat. I glanced around the room and didn’t see anything off, then mind-linked Emily to see if she smelled it too.
• Just as she began to respond something dropped down the chimney, while something else crashed through the window. Both things were on fire and the fumes were beyond noxious. “Everybody out!” Gail shouted and chaos descended in the room.
