• While we waited for the council to arrive, Cookie brought lunch up to the sitting room for everyone. I sat on Frankie’s lap and we shared a plate of food. It was really intimate, but it was done out of practicality. We listened to Alpha Kieran and Alpha Isha discuss squads we will form when we head to the Rip Claw Pack territory. It has been decided that we should go in prepared for battle.
• The squad leaders would be the two Alphas and the two Alpha Heirs and that no one’s Luna or family member would be in their squad. For example Alpha Isha was my squad leader and Maisey, Gideon, Gamma Xavier and 30 warriors made up our squad. Luna Fran’s squad included Emily of course and since they were not at home in their own pack Luna Hope was assigned Delta Gilmore as her personal guard and Mia had Delta Female Gilmore as hers.
• We were hoping that it would not come to war since the council should be with us, given the evidence we had gathered. But we had to be prepared for all possibilities, including one I wasn’t extremely happy with even if I knew it was the right thing under the circumstances. Worse case scenario being I would not be the one physically delivering vengeance on Alpha Hollis, Frankie and I had discussed this earlier.
