Chapter 20 Frannie

• Kieran’s dark promise and his wolf’s desires sent heat straight to my center and I am sure that when he opened his door and got into the car, he could scent my arousal. When he started the car and gripped the steering wheel, my suspicions were confirmed. The whites of his knuckles and the way he kept his eyes straight forward when he asked for directions to the neutral territory through clenched teeth, made me giddy with anticipation.
• My heart was beating rapidly in my chest as I grinned inwardly, knowing the effect I had on Kieran. I wasn’t sure how far I should or could push the envelope, before he would lose control, but I am sure before the day is out, I would know the answer to that.
• “Once you clear the pack gates go straight until you come to the stop sign, turn left and go about 20 miles to the blinking light and make a right. From there you just go straight until you get into town, can’t miss it,” I explained and then silence settled between us.
