Chapter 149 Nikki

• Today has definitely been a day for the books. I am so proud of Jonas, he has been my best friend forever and just always been one of the girls. Not that any of us have ever minded that. Just because he can pee standing up, didn’t mean we had to behave any differently with him. I know he has felt left out of my life these last several months, especially since I got back from Nevada because he wasn’t of age to have a wolf and participate in a lot of what has been going on.
• But for him to accept Frankie’s challenge to spar and hold his own doing it, spoke volumes for him personally. The fact that he was seen by others besides our group, those who have been much less than kind, was monumental! I have a good feeling that things will be different for him going forward, in regards to being harassed at school and around the territory.
• Not that I need a guard so much right now but, to know that I have two people that I can trust in that position is important. There may be a time that I truly need protection and having Jonas and Maisey for that time is comforting.
