• Kieran didn’t set me down, he just simply walked with me in his arms up to his room and set me on the bed. I began eating as soon as Kieran sat me down and he sat on the edge of the bed waiting while I inhaled my food.
• “Sorry, that wasn’t very lady-like. I guess I was hungrier than I realized,” I commented, setting my plate aside. “My mom was gifted. She graduated high school at twelve and went to Harvard to study medicine. At fifteen she was given a scholarship to complete her education at Johns Hopkins University.
