• The breeze settled gently in my hair and cooled down the sweaty palms of my hands when Conner led me outside to his car. As we walked there, he was respectful enough to not bring up the decision I made to leave the company, instead, he congratulated me for having had such an idea in such a short time. "Well, it wasn't like that, I have dreamt of this for years, I didn't know how I was going to get it done so I just invested the money in the bank..." I explained.
• "Great, so you own two boutiques and you're a landlord now?" he asked. "You must be quite prosperous to own two shops, and you're still young," he added. I smiled sheepishly and shrugged."Yes." He led me to the passenger seat and opened the door for me. He was dressed smart, obviously for work, but it felt good to see him that way on a date. I went on more casual dates with Lorenzo than I did with Conner.
