• Adeline's POV
• I had doubted myself long enough that day, but never would I have guessed that Michael felt anything for me outside of the brother-hood. If it wasn't for his comment I'd have continued to go blind for years. It explained why he always stayed so close to me at the bars and didn't always fancy me talking about my guy friends.
• My life was boring as shit, so when he asked about them, I told him everything. He just laughed in the way that he did when I started telling a bad story. It was his special way. When someone really gets on your nerves, you just need someone like him there with you, no matter how annoying they are. But this was different. For how long had I made him suffer with my stories?
