• Adeline's POV
• "Meeting with Mr Ford?" The lady at the front desk said when she saw me approaching. I nodded my head, maintaining my pace as I approached her manager's office. He was yelling at someone on the phone when I walked in, his face burning so red that he had to adjust his tie when he saw me. "Ms Adeline!" he yelled, "do you mind telling me why every gossip magazine company in town has the images of celebrity Stephen in that expensive restaurant and I didn't get hands on them first?"
• I took a seat by his desk, handing him the pictures I took from the night, clearer than the ones that had already gone viral. "What you should remember is that I never agreed to work for you in the first place. I give you what I can give you. The plan was to catch the bastard red-handed to fuel his wife, but his mistress' boyfriend walked in and ruined the whole thing. This project wasn't about you or the money, Mr. Ford."
