• Adeline's POV
• Michael was staring back at me after what happened. I waited for Mom to drive off before I could slap the door on Michael, "Adeline! Wait, I was scared out of my pants but I knew you wouldn't listen to me if I spoke."
• "So, you went behind my back? What gives you the right, Michael? We settled our little disagreement, and this is the first thing you do right after, bring my mother into this!" I yelled from the other side of my door. After moments of begging me to open the door, I finally agreed, opening it with my arms crossed.
