• "You've got a lot of nerve calling me," he growled through the line. "You're upset, I don't know what I did wrong, but I am still sorry for having put you through so much heartache even though I didn't know it!" I said, angered by his instant emotional reaction. For a psychologist, he was very puzzling to me. He hung up on me after a moment of silence. I was getting fed up and guilt wasn't something I was ready to carry.
• Time had passed and I knew I had to start getting ready for my evening date, after which, I had to send Ethan to a restaurant location to meet me. This could potentially take the entire night. As I was trying on an outfit, I got another text alert. It was Ethan letting me know that he was ready whenever I was and I smiled, glad that we could actually talk this way.
