• Ethan's POV
• "Don't worry Lorenzo, everything will be fine," I continued, telling Enzo of my plans. He seemed worried that I was going against my father's wishes. I assured him that it was time to test my strength instead of hiding behind a cruel man, fearing that I would have to answer for my actions if things started up again. "Is it because of her? Is it because of your "magical" night?" He teased, 'Maybe she... she's not what I imagined...' I thought to myself.
• By swinging the golf club over the ball and slamming it into the hole, I released some backed-up stress. Despite our differences in technique, we completed the lap in less than twenty seconds. As we played, I heard a muffled sound in the distance and saw a familiar figure struggling to get up off the ground. Enzo encouraged me to help as he went to say hello to John Sniper, one of his company's competitors. "Are you okay?" I said, walking over to the woman who looked like she was in a hurry to untangle her bag from the man next to her. "Adeline? What are you doing here?" I asked, shockingly. When I saw the man standing next to her, my jaw couldn't hold back, "What is this?"
