Chapter 92

  • The air in the pack was tense the next day. Blood Moon had shown hostility to Silver Moon and now, a war was no longer brewing. It was about to be served. The atmosphere was thick with tension as people whispered under their breaths, waiting for what next was to happen. Even the young children who didn’t know anything were looking left and right as they walked with their parents, their underdeveloped senses already catching on to the disturbance in the atmosphere.
  • “We should strike first,” I said to Alpha Liam. “Don’t let them bring the battle to Silver Moon. We will be losing too much.”
  • I always wanted the battle to pass without bloodshed but it was clear that it was inevitable. Blood Moon had it out for us. The age-long wound between our packs had finally festered to the point where it could not be ignored anymore. The limb had to be cut off.
