Chapter 23

• Classes were no joke. I had assumed and even hoped that I would adapt to college life as easily as I adapted to this world but classes were out of this world. At this point, I already had assignments piling up and it was only the second week. Despite being a fast learner, I felt too slow for the hustle and bustle of college life. Coupled with my recent volunteering work, I felt like I could not spend even a second dilly-dallying.
• Alas, there was still Xander.
• It was day three of acting like I was still obsessed with him so I found my way to his department building and waited outside. When I got there, a few students were exiting the building. I did not know them so I paid them no mind but it turned out they knew me. It was no surprise considering how this was the first choice for much of the wolves of Silver Moon, although it was a hard institution to get into.
