• “B – but won’t all this affect him?” I asked Logan as he laid out the next step of our plan. “I want him back but will he ever give me a second look if he finds out that I’ve been doing all this against him? I kind of feel bad.”
• When Logan said he’d help me, I didn’t expect anything pretty. Selene was the enemy here so why did we have to attack Xander? If we continued to spread these kind of rumours, his position as Alpha of the pack would be in jeopardy. Besides, most of the things Logan was telling me to say about Xander were lies. Was that okay? I didn’t want to compromise who I was and ruin my mate’s life for selfish reasons.
