Chapter 44

• Being in a relationship came with its perks, one of them being that every morning, I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful man in this world next to me. Yes, I spent every night cuddling with Xander because he was surprisingly very clingy and while I pretended to mind, I actually loved it.
• I loved the feeling of being loved. It was so beautiful that meeting up with Xander every day became the highlight of my day. Since we were both busy students, we had a lot of things to do during the day but at the end of the day when I went over to his room or he came over to mine, the world faded away and I could just lay on his chest – my favorite place – and tell him about my day or listen to him rant.
• There was just one problem. It was a major problem called Ethan who, although did not know about our relationship, was suspicious and bothered us a lot. Like, a whole lot. It was tiring sneaking around and while Xander said, ‘fuck it,’ I knew that my father would kick up a storm if he knew we were involved with each other.
