• Alphas from all around the world filled the banquet hall making the atmosphere chockful of power. It was no wonder I hadn’t felt even the slightest bit of intimidation after entering this place that reeked of power. I was the Luna here. They were on my land. Grace puffed in satisfaction at that realization.
• “You did it.” Alpha Liam’s eyes shone with satisfaction as he stared at me. “I knew the goddess would not leave my son to be with an omega. She loves us too much for that.”
• Xander took a step to block his father’s gaze from me. It was subtle but it was also very obvious because one moment, I could see Alpha Liam’s gaze on me and in the next, I could only see Xander’s back. Alpha Liam laughed at that gesture.
