• Oh, to go back to the days when my biggest problem was how to avoid the male lead so I did not end up being killed. Now, my biggest concern was increasing the time I spent with said male lead. I did not see him nearly as often as I would like as we were both busy, especially him. The time I got to spend with Xander was no longer enough.
• “Urgh, I miss Xander,” I said as I stirred my hot chocolate drink.
• “Uhh, little miss lover girl,” Bella laughed at me. “After swearing up and down that you no longer wanted him, look at you acting all whipped. If you miss him then you should go see him. Wear something sexy and find your way to his room.”
